Halloween Frights & Fall Family Fun

Here is a taste of some of the very best Halloween Attractions and Fall Festivals in our area. A lot of them offer daytime fun for the little ones as well as nightime haunts for the brave ones. Which one are you?

SLEEPY HOLLOW HAUNTED ACRES
Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres
Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres has three of the best haunted attractions in the Philadelphia area. Ride the SLEEPY HOLLOW HAYRIDE on a mile and a quarter trip through acres of dark woods and fields. Discover the secrets of a farm plagued with tragedy. It will keep you on edge as you encounter burning mines, a gothic graveyard, lawless backlands and a sideshow of the bizarre, among other sites. Beware, ill-fated spirits inhabit these dark woods and fields. Explore the old Malfate Manor also known as THE HOUSE IN THE HOLLOW, quite possibly the most haunted house in Bucks County. Dare to venture into the FIELD OF FRIGHT - a darkened path through towering cornstalks? If the screams ahead are any indication of what's to come, keep your loved ones close as you wind through a disorienting trail of horrors. At the end of the evening, gather with family and friends by the warmth and safety of the BONFIRES with LIVE MUSIC. See website for dates and times.

Daytime Fun - have little ones or don't like the scary stuff? Come to the farm during the day for a hayride to the pumpkin patch, pony rides, inflatables, kids' playground, duck races, sand art and more! The daytime pumpkin patch will be open Saturdays and Sundays in October. See website for exact dates.
FROEHLICH'S FARM FALL FESTIVAL
Froehlich's Farm Fall Festival
Fall is not complete without a festival to celebrate the changing of the leaves, the chill in the air, and, of course, Halloween! The annual Froehlich's Farm Fall Festival occurs on Saturdays and Sundays, starting September 28 throughout the month of October. Froehlich's Farm offers the perfect fall adventure, with fun for all ages. The festival features: hayrides, a 10 acre corn maze, pick your own pumpkin patch, moon bounce, inflatable obstacle course, pony rides, petting zoo, monster and mini slides, build your own scarecrow, face painting, pumpkin painting, a kid zone, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin shoot out, live music, great food, local breweries, home baked goods, and more!

Nightime Haunts - daytime hayride not exciting enough for you? Join Jason and his scary friends for Friday Nights on the Farm for haunted tractor drawn hayrides, live music, bonfires, local breweries and food trucks! Fridays in October from 7-10pm.

RED MILL HAUNTED VILLAGE
Red Mill Haunted Village
Set in a historical wool mill from 1810 that now hosts a museum, the Haunted Village has been providing scares to tri-state residents for 28 years. The mill is transformed into 3 stories of twists and turns, never knowing what kind of ghouls and zombies you'll encounter with your next step. Venture through the maze, terror trail, haunted hayride, and vortex before facing with the final scares in the famous Red Mill. The attraction will run on Fridays and Saturdays from October 11 through 26. The box office is open each night from 5pm to 10pm and the attraction opens after dark at approximately 7:30pm. Daytime Fun - Although the Haunt is adult-fun, there's a startle-free version just for kids! Hay rides, face painting, treats and more - October 12, 19 & 26 from 10am - 1pm. Tickets available at the door.
LEHIGH VALLEY SCREAMPARK
Lehigh Valley ScreamPark
Lehigh Valley ScreamPark offers 4 terrifying attractions on 50 acres of backwoods terrain like no other. Your experience will start with the hollow of horror hayride. Be ready as every hill, every corner, every tree may have creatures lurking and be warned people do get pulled from the wagon. Your next stop is Aunt Lulu's house of horror followed by the slaughter barn where only the strongest of hearts dare to enter. If you make it this far, the horror only gets worse in the dead end corn maze full of dreadful surprises. Open weekends - see website for days/hours.

Non-scary Fun - Enjoy an afternoon of family fun shooting live zombies in the corn field while strapped in a 10,000 lb. military truck. This ride is fun for the whole family and especially for the ones that don’t like the dark. There is also a Zombie Thrill Ride, an interactive ride in the dark with special effect lighting through areas filled with live zombies. Zombies do not come on the truck and they do not shoot back. It is completely separate from the haunted attractions and can be boarded without coming in contact with any scary hillbillys.
